Highlighted by the CQC in the Pandemic as an Outstanding area of practice for NW London, Golborne’s RIPEN training hub in collaboration with Imperial College NHS Trust specialists, ran weekly webinars throughout the pandemic, keeping GPs up to date on managing Long Term Conditions and new acute conditions that were developing.

Co-chaired by Dr Yasmin Razak, GP and Dr Sarah Elkin, Consultant Chest Physician, many GPs commented on how the content and interactive nature of the webinars were a life line for them to remain up to date and provide high quality clinical care in the face of unprecedented NHS pressures. Online playback & one-page summaries allowed implementation in day to day practice.

Topics included Diabetes, Hypertension, Asthma, Musculoskeletal conditions and Mental Health, delivered with Dept leads, with guest speakers from the King’s Fund and Imperial College London
